You know how the digital photography age has been said to enable untalented teenagers (and even some adults) to declare themselves photographers,
much to the dismay of the professionals in the industry?
Well this entry today is to prove to you that not all teenagers take photography as a joke – not all of them depend on their camera alone to create interesting images..or rely on “picnik”
to edit horrible photos into pretty photos.
I am proud to introduce and feature my niece Brooke’s photography!
She is 13 years old, and is already following her dream and pursuing it with all she has!! Brooke’s current favourite subjects to photograph are nature, people, and animals.
I understand I am biased, but I am sure you will all agree that this girl’s got talent!
Brooke is a member of my Illuminate Photography Club for girls aged 13+, and it’s been amazing to see her continue to grow and learn through these past months together.
I am amazed at how the digital age has progressed so much that this next generation of teenagers can already have developed skills
that I could have only dreamed of at thirteen! I picked up a digital camera in grade 11, at the age of 16.
I think by the time she is 23 like me, Brooke will be well on her way to making her mark in the photography industry!
Check out her stuff and leave her some awesome comments below!
